  For the first time ever, the phrase I'd like to thank everyone at 4chan for making me successful and happy is uttered.
Note4chan is an imageboard (or chan, short for channel). Imageboards emphasizes the posting of images but otherwise are a variation on the the more typical Internet forums and bulletin boards. The earliest imageboards emerged in Japan, where they are very popular.
The 4chan website is an English-language version based on the Japanese Futaba Channel. 4chan is primarily used for posting of pictures and the discussion of manga and anime.  xkcd is a webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language by Randall Munroe. Warning: this comic occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children), unusual humor (which may be unsuitable for adults), and advanced mathematics (which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors).Randall Munroe's work contains his own opinions and do not necessarily convey an official position of TS-Si, its partners, or affiliates.
