Fairfax, VA, USA. Despite recent empirical and theoretical breakthroughs, the structure of the web of life that connects living things is still relatively unknown and remains vulnerable to the perturbations of invasive alien species, including changes to real world biological communities (e.g. men and women born transsexual) brought about by human activities (e.g., the transgender political agenda).Invasive species are a key cause of biodiversity loss resulting from their frequent dominance of habitats and the elimination of native species through predation. Although the connectivity of the social network may remain unaltered by invasion, the members change from native to alien as the aliens engage in asymmetric interactions as the invasion progresses. The alien species goal is to become the web’s central nodes and alter the structural attributes of the network, particularly in the advanced stages of the invasion. Invader-dominated webs generally resist restoration (normalization) of interaction among the native species to their previous uninvaded state. Any resemblance to the invasive predilections of the transgender community or their resulting loud angry cries that men and women born transsexual are separatists, elitist, and hateful when we do not agree to be captured by their invasion is a coincidence; as is our refusal to acquiesce to their presumptive insistence that transgenders, crossdressers, transvestites, and those of us born transsexual are one and the same — just one happy invasive family.Or look at it another way, the current transgender invasion is a large scale perturbation to the transsexual ecological community. They are aliens attempting to inject their pollen into the structure of the social web. OMG! They’re the pod people trying to take over the earth! Maybe they're the result of atomic radiation on plant life or animal life. Some weird alien organism — a mutation of some kind … I mean, they’re like huge seed pods!A strange neurosis, evidently contagious, an epidemic mass hysteria that has spread all over the web!
A few years ago, we were much like any other community. People with nothing but problems. Then, out of the blue came a solution: Transgender! Taking us over cell for cell, atom for atom. Suddenly, while you’re asleep, they absorb you and when you wake up, your memories are gone, you are no longer transsexual but are reborn into the untroubled world of transgender without a requirement for surgery to change your sex. You are one of them — the Transgendered! — without the need for love or desire or ambition. Get on your cell phones and blackberries, I tell you. Sound an all points alarm. Block up the interstates, stop all the traffic, close all the airports and the Metrorail and call every law enforcement agency in the country. Help me information, get me Washington D. C. I need to talk to Homeland about getting Real ID.
Biotic invasion is one of the five top drivers for global biodiversity loss, adversely affecting the invaded habitats economically, environmentally, and ecologically as the invaders heavily colonize what was once a native community. Historically the deliberate introduction of non native species has been done with little or no consideration of the impact outside of having a favored animal available locally. Sometimes the invasion is an ill-conceived attempt to control what is seen as a threat. In areas with highly endemic, specialized, and isolated social structures, invasive predators that successfully establish themselves in native biosocial structures compete for limited resources or prey on the original community, some of whom are unable to adapt and gradually die out.
The prime spokesman for the pods are psychiatrists, looking for money and to be the stars of the next new hot thing. They speak with assumed authority and knowledge, believing that being a pod is preferable to being a frail, frightened, man or woman born transsexual. How marvelous must it be if you were a pod and all you had to do is munch a little is eat, drink, watch television and not worry about life, death and pain. There's a strong case for being a pod. That's why there are so many of them. The pods, of course, believe they are doing good when they try to convert people into pods.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) Time: 00:02:08You may be left with a dull world, but that is the world in which most of the pods live. To not be a pod is to look for challenges, face the world as it is. To not be a pod is even to welcome unhappiness, to affirm your existence. Pods seem to be willing to believe anything to avoid unhappiness. Pods deny everything they see as a threat to their poddom. The ultimate horror in science fiction, as in life, is neither death nor destruction, but dehumanization. Emotional life is suspended. Individual feelings, free will, and moral judgments are all subsumed by the requirements of being a pod and the defense of the pod community. Given time, they become rigid counterfeits stuck forever in endless evangelical refortification of the rituals that have replaced their humanity, perfectly efficient in their new painless state. Are they happy? They will tell you they are and you are not, not really.
They are among us now — you know who they are — and some claim you cannot tell them and the other woman next door apart any longer. They invite us to join them in their self-satisfying, carefully choreographed dance. Sleep no more. Take action. Come out.
If you don't, if you won't, if you fail to understand, then the gendersnatchers WILL STRIKE AT YOU.
Screw your invasion.
